Be our guest...

What to Expect

We believe we are different from the typical church experience: not different to be different, but different in our view of the nature and purpose of the church.

The church is not a place you come to - people are the church.

You might wonder, if I am new, what can I expect as a guest at Missio Church?

Music & Worship
Our music and singing is intended to be sincere and joyful; with a variety of instruments, styles and songs. Some songs you may know, some may be new. We invite you to participate as you feel comfortable.

We believe the Bible is God's word - it is profitable & relevant for us and is to be valued & taught. We typically teach through books of the Bible in such way that every person, even if they are reading the Bible for the first time, will be able to understand and learn something about God, Jesus and the Gospel. If you don't bring a Bible - don't worry, the words are displayed on a screen & their are Bibles in the seats you can use. If you don't have a bible - feel free to take one from a seat - it is our gift to you!

No Pressure!
At Missio, we love people because God loves people; every man, woman and child. We are not perfect people; and we do not ask you, our guest, to be perfect either.

Any Sunday, stop in, join us, be our guest.

We look forward to meeting you!

Our Sunday Gatherings are friendly, casual and simple - usually lasting one hour and fifteen minutes. We know your time is valuable. At 9:00 AM each Sunday we have several bible studies for all ages. At 10 AM each Sunday we have our weekly gathering or service.

When you visit you will notice most people (including the pastor) dress comfortably and somewhat casually. God does not care what you wear to church and neither do we, so dress comfortably as well.

When You Walk-in
You will be greeted by a friendly person as you enter our building who will introduce themselves. They can answer any of your questions, direct you to our Missio Kids programs or even help you find a seat. We do not ask our guests to do or say anything in the service or give us any money. We are just happy to have you with us.

If you have kids, at each gathering our Missio Kids program offers a gospel centered program from our safe and friendly Missio Kids Team for children who are infants all the way to 6th grade (no one will pressure you) or you can keep them with you. It is up to you.
