We have made the decision to cancel our in person service on Sunday morning and all other activities on Sunday through out the day, including Youth Group, Connect Group and Bible studies.  While the weather forecast continues to be in flux about when the snow will begin and how bad it will be the consensus has been that the worst of the weather will be in the 11-2Pm range. While we felt confident that we could all get to church safely for a 10 AM service, we were not confident ever could get home safely.  We have also been informed that the Town of Brookhaven is asking everyone to stay off the roads by noon on Sunday and the governor has declared a state of emergency.  

There will be a sermon and some music for your home to worship where you are  and to take time to meditate on God's word - it will be up on YouTube on the MissioChurchLI page by 10 AM.  Please be safe - if you have a need please reach out to one of your deacons or elders.  We look forward to seeing you next week - Lord willing.  

As you know we do not cancel our services often and this decision was not taken lightly.  But we trust God's sovereignty, even when it disrupts our best laid plans.  Have a great night and stay warm.
